Our new single-origin Christmas Special hot chocolate flakes! Handcrafted with just two ingredients: cacao and raw unrefined cane sugar, this incredible chocolate has taste notes of stewed fruits and orange peel. This will be your go-to comfort treat this cosy season!
Sourced from the Chanthaburi province in eastern Thailand, this cacao grows amongst durian and mangosteen trees on a farm run by Khun Suriya Chaisutti and his wife Boom Khun - one of the first of a new generation of farmers to cultivate cacao in Thailand 🇹🇭
Recommended recipe:
Microwave: Add 150ml of milk to mug, microwave for 1 minute, add 30g of chocolate and electric whisk. Our favourite is the NanoFoamer.
Alternative methods:
Saucepan: Add 150ml of milk to a saucepan with 30g of chocolate. Mix with a whisk until all the chocolate is melted. Continue to heat until warmed through - make sure not to simmer or overheat.
Velvetiser: You can also make our hot chocolate with a milk frother. Our hot chocolate flakes work perfectly with the Hotel Chocolat velvetiser.
Our hot chocolate works beautifully with both milk and alternative m*lks.
