"...the best chocolate I've ever tasted" – Rick Stein
Let customers speak for us
from 1486 reviewsI am not usually a fan of dark chocolate, but I saw this company on Rick Stein programme and was intrigued but the fact that they conch their own chocolate. It did not disappoint,it was smooth and delicious, not bitter at all, I hope to try some more when they come back in stock.

just perfect! we'll buy it again and again

Thank you bare bones for sending us fantastic chocolate - we saw you guys on TV and loved your love for making chocolate……. And your love really shines through in the taste. We eat your chocolate like tasting wine looking for different flavours as we eat it - we adored it all but the coffee and salt were fantastic.
Thanks for giving up your career to do what you love ❤️
We’ll be buying more xx

All delicious, will definitely order again!

Best chocolate I have ever tasted

Each chocolate was a rich chocolate experience. We loved every mouthful They were carefully and beautifully packaged 📦

Wonderful chocolate, beautiful berry notes and really considered packaging. Restrict to 2 pieces per ‘sitting’ and it absolutely hits the spots

Probably the best chocolate I have ever had!!

Delicious

Lovely, tasty, awfully moreish

Delicious flavoursome chocolate, reminds me of tasting whisky with its palette of flavours.

Great tasting chocolate, good range of origins to taste. Favourite would be the 70% Madagascar followed by the 68% Dominican Salted. Will be buying again.

Amazing chocolate , Rick was not wrong ! our regular supplier from now on
Well done

After watching an episode of Saturday Kitchen, where Rick Stein visited Bare Bones Chocolate in Glasgow, I knew I had to get my hands on some especially after seeing their preparation and packaging methods.
Obviously being so far away in London, a trip to the HQ was not on the cards but after a very speedy delivery, I was very lucky to be in possession of a mini bar collection. I begrudgingly shared with my family who also agreed it's one of the best chocolate they've ever had and to be able to share such good high quality, sustainably sourced chocolate with them was a real real treat.
What I also loved about the minis is that it almost felt like a good way to sample their stock before committing to a full sized bar which - let's be honest - is expensive but I totally believe in the "get what you pay for" ethos. There's nothing wrong with having a Bounty or KitKat but it's also nice to try the other end of the spectrum too! All in moderation and whatever your budget allows.
Whilst, I'm not sure when I'll next be in Glasgow, I'll definitely be placing an order for full sized bars in the very near future!

I purchased this selection pack for my wife. I didn’t expect to get so many brownie points. But I’m happy to admit that it was worth the money.
